I’m Justin.
I’ve been on a lot of sets; big agency commercial “documentary” shoots where the subject is poked and prodded at by producers and interviewers who are just trying to get to their lunch break. Monitored by a committee of people watching in the other room to make sure what is said will work well with their planned “message.”
I’ve watched people squirm under hot lights, answering extremely personal questions to a room full of strangers. I spent plenty of my career on those crews, watching their discomfort.
I’ve decided I want nothing to do with it.
I left agency life to focus on real people, real stories, and causes that I really care about. Don’t work with an agency or committee that will force moments and shape narratives. Work with a real person to create organic, story-focused content for your organization.
